In an effort to introduce Oregon women’s basketball fans to the 2010-11 newcomers, here is our first video segment with freshman Deanna Weaver. A special thanks to video coordinator Justin Mart and web manager Ryan Therrel for all their hard work.

The Oregon women’s basketball team began practice on Friday, Oct. 8. The Ducks are opening up the doors of Mac Court for media today, so check back to www.GoDucks.com for interviews with second-year head coach Paul Westhead as well as several student-athletes. It will be a busy day for the team – in addition to interviews, the staff and student-athletes will be taking headshots and participating in multiple video/photo shoots.
PK PARK EXPERIENCE
The Oregon women’s basketball team will be at PK Park prior to the Oregon football game vs. UCLA on Thursday, Oct. 21. The gates to PK Park will open at 2 p.m., and the women’s basketball team will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.
Oregon will host its annual open practice on Saturday, Oct. 23. Doors to McArthur Court will open at 1:30 p.m., with the event lasting until approximately 3:45 p.m. More details to follow soon.
Women’s basketball season tickets are currently on sale now. For more information, please click HERE. On Monday at 8:30 a.m., Mini Plans for the 2010-11 women’s basketball season will be made available through the Oregon Ticket office. Fans can call 1-800-WEBFOOT or log onto www.GoDucks.com.
Oregon will offer a six-game Mini Plan for the price of $55. The package includes your choice of one exhibition game, two non-conference games and two conference games as well as guaranteeing a ticket for the first women’s basketball game at Matthew Knight Arena in the Civil War match up vs. Oregon State on Sunday, Jan. 23.
The ticket office will also offer a nine-game Weekend Plan. At a price of $73, the Weekend Plan consists of tickets for all nine weekend home games, including the last game at McArthur Court vs. Washington on Jan. 8, and the first game at Matthew Knight Arena vs. Oregon State on Jan. 23.
