Walker's Pace: Men Up to No. 10; Women No. 3

The Men of Oregon moved up two spots to No. 10 in this week's USTFCCCA poll, releases Tuesday. The Women of Oregon were No. 3 nationally.
Before exploring the polls, the Pace wants to remind fans about tonight's "Tuesdays in Track Town" meeting, which has been moved to the Oregon Electric Station. Free appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m., with the 60-minute program starting at 7 p.m.
Tonight will feature several student-athletes who will be key to Saturday's Pepsi Team Invitational, inlcuding Jordan Hasay, Jamesha Youngblood, Alex Wolff and A.J Acosta.
Geena Gall and Seth Somerset of Oregon Track Club Elite will also be on hand.
Speaking of the Pepsi Team Invitational, the latest rankings would indicate that we are in for an excellent competition this weekend. On the men's side, it's No. 8 Stanford, No. 9 Nebraska and No. 10 Oregon, along with Washington. On the women's side, two of the very best in the Pac-10 will square off in No. 3 Oregon and No. 16 Stanford, with Nebraska and Washington also very capable of winning.
