TULSA, Okla.-- The University of Oregon's Robin Cambier and Jeff Mullen are set to begin doubles play for the first time in the 2012-13 season. The duo was Oregon's most successful doubles team in school history last season, recording 29 wins to just four losses.
After both losing on the first day of singles play, Cambier and Mullen bounced back with strong victories over great opponents in the qualifying singles consolation round. Now, the two are ready and excited about a new season of doubles play where they hope to improve on last year's historic season.
A tough opponent awaits Oregon on Thursday as they drew fourth-seeded University of Texas Longhorns' team of Chris Camillone and David Holiner in the main draw. The match will take place at 5:30 p.m. Central Time.
