Dana Altman's Ducks are coming off a 102-75 victory against Concordia on Oct. 29, while the NCAA Division II Bulldogs will be playing their first competitive game ahead of the 2012-13 regular season.Oregon had seven players score in double figures vs. the Cavaliers as freshman Dominic Artis led the way with 17, followed by fellow freshman Willie Moore with 15. Junior transfer Waverly Austinscored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his first action as a Duck, while veterans Tony Woods and Johnathan Loyd scored 12 each.
SWOSU, under the direction of fourth-year head coach Charlie Schaef, plays out of the Great American Conference, where the Bulldogs were picked second in the GAC preseason poll after finishing 17-12 overall last season.
The Ducks, recently picked seventh in the Pac-12 preseason media poll, went 24-10 a year ago, including a 13-5 mark in league play, which tied for second.
Oregon hopes to have senior forward E.J. Singler back in the lineup. The Pac-12's active scoring leader with 1,114 points did not play against Concordia as he was rehabbing an injury.
The Ducks open their regular season on Saturday, Nov. 10, against Northern Arizona at Matthew Knight Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. with a live telecast on Pac-12 Networks.
