Junior Ed Dickson has been named as one of 30 players selected to the John Mackey Award watch list. The award, presented annually by the Nassau County Sports Commission, is given to the collegiate tight end who best exemplifies the play, sportsmanship, academics, and community values of NFL Hall of Fame Tight End John Mackey.

Eight semifinalists will be chosen in November with the winner announced at the ESPN College Football Awards show in December.

Dickson was the Ducks' second-leading receiver in 2007, catching 43 balls for 453 yards and three touchdowns.
