SUMMER 2009
A reliever for the Mankato Moondogs of the Northwoods League…helped the Moondogs to a 39-29 overall record…reached the playoffs but fell to the Rochester Honkers and Oregon teammates Mitch Karraker, Scott McGough and Danny Pulfer in the NWL North Divisional Series… ended his summer making 15 appearances and pitching a total of 31 innings…had a 1-1 record with one save and a 2.03 ERA, while holding opposing batters to a .193 average…struck out 19.

AS A FRESHMAN • 2009
Appeared as a reliever and midweek starter for Oregon...made 12 appearances and three starts as a rookie...finished the season with an 0-3 record and 4.55 ERA, pitching a total of 31 and 2/3 innings with 15 strikeouts...held right-handed hitters to a .228 average...made his first start vs. Sacramento State (3/24), pitching 4 and 2/3 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits in a 10-5 loss...made his second start one week later, pitching 4 and 2/3 innings, and holding Portland to two runs on two hits in a 3-1 loss (3/31)...his longest outing of the year came in relief at California (4/17), pitching 6 and 2/3 innings and holding Cal scoreless for 3 and 2/3 scoreless innings before surrendering a two-run double in the sixth and three runs in the eighth.

2008 MLB DRAFT
Selected in the 48th round (1,427 overall) by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Rocklin High School (Calif.), lettered in three sports for the Thunder...on the diamond was a pitcher and outfielder for head coach Roc Murray, winning the section championship in 2007...on the basketball court played on the perimeter, helping Rocklin to a section championship his senior season with head coach Steve Taylor...on the gridiron played wide receiver and free safety for head coach Greg Benzel...was a first team all-Metro football selection...also during his high school career earned first team all-Sierra Foothill League honors in baseball, basketball and football...played for the El Dorado Hills Vipers travel team under head coach Dan Sozzi.
