Oregon’s starting shortstop ... Turned 40 double plays ... Hit .265... Named one of 25 finalists for the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List ... Missed 13 games with a shoulder injury suffered on April 16 before returning to the lineup in the eighth inning as a defensive replacement in Oregon’s 3-2 win over Oregon State ... Returned to the starting lineup for the USC Series, batting .333 ... Hit .385 in UO’s series win at No. 5 UCLA ... Set a new Oregon record with three doubles during a single game in Oregon’s 12-6 win over Hawaii, and also matched a record that day with five hits ... During the Nike College Showcase hit .313 ... Batted .476 (10-for-21) in the Hawaii series, drove in four runs, recorded four doubles and scored three runs.


SUMMER 2011
Hit .295 for the Brewster Whitecaps (20-20) of the Cape Cod League with 14 runs scored, three doubles, eight runs driven in and 13 walks … Totaled 74 assists with a .962 fielding percentage.

AS A SOPHOMORE | 2011
Started a team-high 59 games, mostly at third base … Started the first seven games of the year at shortstop … Hit .236 (48-for-203) and drove in 20 runs with 12 doubles, one triple and seven stolen bases … Recorded eight multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games … Had 147 assists defensively … Ended the year on a career-best 11-game hitting streak, while also helping the Ducks finish 10-3-1 during the last 14 games of the season … During the 14-game stretch batted .383 (18-for-47) with 16 runs scored, seven doubles, one triple and six RBI … Led Oregon during its final series of the season, sweeping No. 6 Oregon State at PK Park, batting .500 with four runs scored and one double … At Washington State went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored as UO defeated the Cougars 6-3, winning its first game in Pullman since reinstatement.

AS A FRESHMAN | 2010
Oregon’s starting third baseman, appeared in 57 games for the Ducks ... Batted .275 (55-for-200), recording 33 RBI, 31 runs scored, eight doubles, one triple and one home run … In Pac-10 play, batted .309 (29-for-94) with 16 RBI, 13 runs scored, two doubles and one home run … Produced15 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games … Went on and eight-game hitting streak from March 13-27 as UO went 5-3 during that stretch … Season highlights included a triple and scoring three runs in Oregon’s 8-3 victory at Fresno State … Scored the game-winning run after leading off the bottom of the 12th inning with a bunt single in Oregon’s 6-5 upset of then No. 1 Arizona State … Finished that game 3-for-6 with a RBI and two runs scored … as 2-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored in Oregon’s series-clinching 8-4 victory over then No. 1 UCLA … Went down in the record books with the first Oregon grand slam since the program’s reinstatement – hammering a first-pitch, round-tripper over the right field wall, erasing a two-run deficit in the third, and pushing Oregon on to an eventual 8-4 victory over USC.

Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 49th round (1,486 overall) of the 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2009 graduate of Woodbridge high school in Irvine, Calif.... Played shortstop for four years under head coach Tim Murray ... Was a three-time first-team Sea View League selection, and was also named to the CIF Southern Section Division II Second-Team ... Led Woodbridge high school and finished fourth in the Sea View League with a .455 (40-for-88) batting average in 2009 ... Also finished fifth in the SVL with a .659 slugging percentage and fourth with nine stolen bases ... Scored 29 runs with 17 RBI, nine doubles, three triples and one home run ... As a junior led the Warriors and the SVL batting .456, and was named first-team All-Sea View League and second-team all-county by OCVarsity.com ... In 2008 had 41 hits, 26 runs scored, 13 RBI, four home runs, a .515 on-base percentage and .722 slugging percentage ... Played shortstop for  two years for the OC Renegades club team under head coach Sy Petro.
