Appeared in 41 games and made 17 starts ... Hit .218 with one double and one home run ... Drove in a run and scored in UO’s three-run sixth inning during Oregon’s come-from-behind 6-3 win over USC ... Drew a lead-off walk in the 13th inning, and scored the Ducks’ game winning run in Oregon’s 3-2, 13-inning win at Washington.
Played a major role in helping Walla Walla (26-28) of the West Coast League finish second in the East Division and advance to the playoffs … The Sweets then upset Wenatchee in the East Division playoffs, sweeping the defending champion AppleSox, before falling to Corvallis in the WCL championship series … Was named second-team All-WCL after batting .280 with 23 runs scored, 49 hits, 19 RBI, 12 walks, two home runs, one triple, five stolen bases, five outfield assists and a club-leading 14 doubles … Also appeared in the WCL All-Star Game … In the East Division championship series against the AppleSox, batted 3-for-9 with one RBI and one run scored … Perfect Game ranked him the No. 16 prospect in the WCL.

Appeared in 45 games, made 14 starts in center field, and was used as a defensive replacement in the outfield … Hit .226 (12-for-53) on the season … Drove in five runs, scored 11 runs, and added two doubles, one home run and four stolen bases … Hit his first career home run on the road at No. 20 California … Took a 3-1 offering and launched a two-out, two-run homer over the wall in left to give the Ducks a 2-0 lead in the second as UO held on for a 4-3 victory … Had a 2-for-2 outing in a 9-0 victory over Gonzaga … Was 2-for-4 with a RBI double and run scored in Oregon’s 12-6 loss at Washington State.
Helped the Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League to the 2010 North Division title before falling in the NWL championship series to the Eau Claire Express … Batted .246 on the season with 22 runs scored, seven doubles, 14 RBI, 17 walks and five stolen bases … In the playoffs hit .474 (9-for-19) with three runs scored.
AS A FRESHMAN | 2010
An athletic outfielder, was mainly called in to duty during base-running situations and for defensive purposes … Toward the end of the season began making starts in the lineup against left-handers … In 36 appearances batted .318 on the season with five RBI, six runs scored, four doubles and four stolen bases … Also had one assist from the outfield … Season highlights include a 3-for-4 effort with two stolen bases and two RBI in Oregon’s 5-2 victory at Washington … Also had a running catch in the fourth to preserve what was at the time a one-run lead, and also stole home … Was 3-for-3 with a double in Oregon’s 4-3 loss to California … With Oregon nursing a two-run lead in the ninth in the NCAA Regional elimination game vs. No. 17 UConn, was inserted into left field as a defensive replacement … Brought back what would-have-been a three-run and walk-off homer with an over-the-fence catch off the bat of UConn’s Pierce LaPage, helping the Ducks to the 4-3 victory.
A 2009 graduate of Southridge High School in Kennewick, Wash.... Was a three-sport athlete for the Sun playing football, baseball and basketball ... As a center fielder for Southridge and head coach Tim Sanders, was a three-time All-Big 9 Conference selection while garnering first-team and all-state accolades as a senior ... Was named the Athlete of the Year by the Tri City Herald after earning first-team All-Big 9 honors as the Southridge quarterback and first-team accolades as a shooting guard on the basketball team ... Best performances of his high school career include scoring 32 points against rival Richland high school, and passing for 250 yards and rushing for 150 yards against West Valley HS.
