Kenya Wilkins
Position: Hall of Fame Inductee
Other Position: Inductee, Basketball (1993-1997)

Statistics alone don’t adequately portray the impact made by Kenya Wilkins on an Oregon basketball program that had encountered only one winning season in the previous five prior to his arrival. However he did complete his collegiate career tied for third on the Pac-10’s all-time single-game steals list (9) and eighth on its career assists chart (614), in addition to ranking among the league leaders in no fewer than six statistical categories his senior season. Lured to Eugene from Los Angeles, the Ducks’ 5-10 point guard was referred by teammates as the cornerstone for the team that helped resurrect a program that had not advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 34 years prior doing so in 1995. The 1997 team MVP and first-team all-conference choice, accounted for single-game bests of 30 points against Nebraska and Stanford, as well as 12 assists on three occasions. One of 30 finalists for the John R. Wooden Award as the nation’s premier college basketball player, he completed his career as Oregon’s all-time record-holder in assists and steals (213), and was third in successful free throws (442).
