As expected, Oregon seniors Ashton Eaton and Andrew Wheating were two of the 10 men's finalists for the 2010 Bowerman, which was released by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday.

Eaton set a world record in winnng his second straight NCAA indoor heptathlon title, and then followed that by becoming the first man to win three consecutive NCAA decathlon titles at the outdoor meet a couple of weeks ago at Historic Hayward Field.

Wheating was nearly as impressive in becoming the first person to win both the NCAA 800 and 1,500 meters in 26 years. He began the year by anchoring Oregon's NCAA champion indoor distance medley relay team, and took second in the NCAA indoor 800 meters.
