From The Dugout: Anderson Guides USA To Semifinals

Oregon’s Tyler Anderson pitched five shutout innings, and picked up the win in the Collegiate National Team’s 11-0 quarterfinal victory over China on Tuesday at the FISU World University Baseball Championships.
The left-hander held China to two hits and struck out six before being credited with the win after five innings of work at Yokohama Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.
With the win, USA (15-2) advances to the semifinals and will play the winner of Chinese Taipei/Japan on Thursday with a scheduled start time yet to be determined.
