EUGENE – With its home opener this Wednesday, the No. 18 University of Oregon women’s volleyball team climbed two spots Monday in the first national poll of the season released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Overall in the three matches, she led UO in hitting (.337), kills (40), points (50), and aces (5), and climbed one position each on UO’s all-time career lists for points (fourth, 1,260.5) and kills (10th, 1,031).

Freshman setter Lauren Plum was also picked to the five-person all-tourney team after she averaged 13.11 assists in her nine sets of duty, and racked up 48 assists, 18 digs, one ace and six blocks.
