EUGENE -- University of Oregon head football coach Chip Kelly has announced the Ducks will host and participate in a bowling tournament to benefit fallen Eugene police officer Chris Kilcullen's family on June 4 at Emerald Lanes.
The tournament, presented by O Heroes and hosted by Emerald Lanes, Track Town Pizza, Big Green Events, Johnny Ocean's Grille, Oregon Electric Station and the Hilton Eugene Hotel and Conference Center, will consist of 24 four-person teams, with each team receiving a fifth bowler in the form of an Oregon football player or coach. The cost per team is $400 and all proceeds will go to Kilcullen's wife and two daughters, who lost him on April 22 when he was fatally shot during a vehicle pursuit in Springfield.
Bowlers of all ages are welcome in what will be a family friendly event. To register a team, complete and submit the registration form. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
