New Duck Uniform Announced for Cowboys Classic
The University of Oregon is no stranger to alternate uniform combinations and the latest Nike Pro Combat system of dress blends the sport's newest uniform innovations with a futuristic fashion that only the Ducks can don with dominance. The team's sleek, anthracite-colored uniform is topped off by a tough matte black helmet, giving them a stealth-like presence thatcompliments an aggressive, yet smooth style of play. The glowinggreen Oregon moniker sits atop fluorescent number outlines, providing a popfrom the dark uniforms.
The integrated uniform system, which the University of Oregon debuted during the 2010 BCS National Championship Game, provides enhanced durability and innovation from the inside out. Nike Pro Combat Deflex padding eliminates unnecessary bulk to allow the Ducks to maintain top speeds whileprotecting crucial impact areas. Customizable, carbon fiber plates in the base layer increase mobility and form an indestructible armor when the team engages in battle.
The Ducks are one of nine schools wearing the 2011 Nike Pro Combat system of dress uniforms and it's fitting that the team will be the first to showcase the new look in their season opener against Louisiana State University on September 3 at the famed Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
