Oregon Postgame Notebook - Game 1, LSU

-With 54 yards, LaMichael James became UO's all-time leading rusher with 3,331, surpassing Derek Loville (3,296 from 1986-89).

-Three first-time starters for the Ducks on offense: JR WR Justin Hoffman, FR C Hroniss Grasu, SR RG Ramsen Golpashin. Five on defense: SO DT Taylor Hart, SO DT Ricky Heimuli, SR LB Dewitt Stuckey, JR LB Michael Clay, FR CB Terrance Mitchell.

-SO LB Boseko Lokombo made the fourth fumble recovery of his career (14 games played).

-SR CB Anthony Gildon set a new career mark with 3 pass breakups.

-JR PK Rob Beard equaled a career-high with 2 FG (29, 30).

-The crowd of 87,711 was the 10th-largest to watch an Oregon football game.

-The Ducks are now 1-2 vs. top 5 teams under head coach Chip Kelly, 3-3 vs. the top 10 and 7-4 against the top 25.

-Oregon has now lost consecutive games for the first time since a three-game skid between Nov. 15 and Dec. 1, 2007 (at Arizona, at UCLA and vs. Oregon State).

-UO is now 1-3 vs. LSU and 4-6 all-time against schools from the Southeastern Conference.

-JR QB Darron Thomas has at least one TD pass in all 14 career starts (and 14 consecutive appearances).

-Thomas set career marks with 31 completions and 54 attempts.

-Oregon's 4 turnovers were the most in a game since a 31-24 win vs. Utah on Sept. 19, 2009.

-The 13-point margin of defeat was the most since a 44-10 loss at USC Oct. 4, 2008.

-SR WR Lavasier Tuinei tied his personal best for a third time with a game-high 7 catches.

-James had a career-high 6 receptions and a team-high 61 receiving yards.

-With a game-high 132 all-purpose yards, James moved into eighth on the Ducks' career list with 3,826.

-Five true freshmen made their UO debuts: RB Tra Carson, RB De'Anthony Thomas, OL Jake Fisher, DB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and TE Colt Lyerla.
