Head Coach Dana Altman

On Devoe Joseph...

"It was a pretty good night for Devoe, he knew when he had someone open, and he was very patient. He made a lot of good plays and was the difference in the game for us."

On Devoe's shot selection...

"You have to give a guy like that a little freedom with his shots. He just has a feel for the shot. It was no surprise to us that he could shoot like that; we knew he was a good player. He's really easy to work with.

On the game...

"With Tony (Woods) getting hurt and Olu (Ashaolu) getting in foul trouble early, we went small on the court and it worked for us."

On Tyrone Nared...

"He has kind of been flat footed and stuck in neutral all year, but it was great to see his athleticism come out. His presence in the last five to six minutes was good to see."

"I thought he jumpstarted tonight. He was flat footed at the start of the second half, but I bite him pretty good. Then he just went out there and showed the athleticism we know he has."

On players stepping up...

"This time of year, guys have been stepping up. Everyone is playing different roles."

On being a bubble team for the NCAA tournament...

"The selection committee looks and says we didn't win at BYU and at Vanderbilt, but we are a different team now with Devoe. They're looking at how you play all year long; all our guys can do is play. Our team is playing good basketball now; we've been playing pretty well."

On making key free throws at the end of the game...

"Shooting free throws like that at the end of the game allows you to win games like we did."

Guard Devoe Joseph

On tonight's team win...

"Tonight was a complete team effort. Four guys had double figures. We made some huge stops and we hit our free throws."

On effort in second half...

"We pushed the ball, and created steals. It was our defense that won us the game."

Stepping up as seniors...

"As seniors it's our last chance to complete our goal and make the tournament."

Forward Garrett Sim

On second half spark...

"We knew we needed more energy. We needed to bring the first punch to start the second half."

On crowd's energy...

"We fed off the energy, and it really got the crowd and team into it. In March we really got to make shots down the line."

On greater effort in the second half...

"After half time the team made an effort to make plays and get steals in transition. We made big shots, the crowd fed off it, and we fed off that."

On Tyrone Nared...

"We're really happy for Tyrone to have a night like this. It reminds him of the player he can be and is."
