EUEGENE- The University of Oregon women's soccer team starts the 2012 season with an intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, Aug. 12th at the new Pape' Field. The action will begin at 1 p.m. and the women will play two full 45-minute halves. The team will be split into two teams, the Green team and the White team.

The Ducks return 20 players, including seven seniors. All-Pac 12 first-teamer Scout Libke returns to the field for UO as does freshman all-Pac 12 performer Bri Pugh, both of whom had four goals last season. Oregon finished the 2011 season with an 8-9-3 record.

The team opened fall practice on Aug. 3rd and look to break in the new facility with style.

No admission will be charged for the event, and parking is free as well from Entry 6 off of Leo Harris Parkway. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Oregon opens the season on Aug. 19 against the University of Alabama-Birmingham at 1 p.m. The full schedule is online at www.GoDucks.com.
