Ducks Nominated for "Best of Lacrosse" Awards

LaxMagazine.com has launched a fan voting campaign for Lacrosse Magazine's annual "Best of Lacrosse" awards, with the Ducks represented in a few categories.

EUGENE, Ore.-- LaxMagazine.com has launched a fan voting campaign for Lacrosse Magazine's annual "Best of Lacrosse" awards, with the Ducks represented in a few categories.

You can find all polls and vote for your Ducks here: http://laxmagazine.com/bestoflacrosse2012, and they have established the Twitter hash tag #BestOfLax as a hub for commentary.

Oregon head coach Jen Larsen-Beck is up for Best Women's Coach and the Ducks are up for Best Game (NCAA play-in game vs. Navy) and Best Team Breakthrough. Results of the voting, which ends Oct. 29 at noon PT, will run in the December issue of Lacrosse Magazine alongside the staff picks.

"We're really excited to be recognized nationally as we are trying to accelerate the growth of our sport on the West coast. We love our fans and know that they will support us," said head coach Jen Larsen-Beck.
