With three weeks left of the regular season, the No. 4-ranked Ducks have plenty to toast already.
Off to its best start in school history, UO is ranked second in the nation's top volleyball conference with a 20-3 record (and 11-3 conference mark).
The Ducks have beaten two No.-2 ranked teams - Washington (3-1) and USC (3-0) - and have two more wins vs. top-30 teams in No. 24 Ohio State (3-2) and No. 26 Oregon State (3-0).
This week, UO leads the nation's 330 Division 1 teams in kills (15.75 per set) and assists (14.7 2p/s), and stands ninth in hitting (.291).
The national coaches polls have taken equal note and awarded the team five top-three weekly rankings (its first ever that high) and two more in the top five.
This weekend, UO remains at home to welcome its desert rivals to Matthew Knight Arena.
Oregon first faces Arizona State (16-11, 5-9) on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m., then takes on Arizona (13-12, 5-9) on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m.
Against the Sun Devils, fans that wear a KIDSPORTS t-shirt will get discounted G.A. tickets ($1 youth; $5 adults). Against the Wildcats, the BI-MART 2-for-1 Night promotion means that fans that show a BI-MART card at the door will get two G.A. tickets for the price of one.
Duck fans can also watch both of those matches streamed live on the Pac-12 website at the www.pac-12.com/live/goducks.aspx URL address.
