EUGENE, Ore.— The Oregon Ducks men’s tennis team is proud to announce the signing of Jayson Amos and Alex Marcinkowski to National Letters of Intent on Thursday.
“In Jayson and Alex we have added two outstanding young men to help lead Oregon for years to come,” said head coach Nils Schyllander. “They are both outstanding students and talented athletes with tons of untapped potential, and coach Piibor and I are very excited to get to work with both of them.”
Amos, a senior at El Toro High School in Mission Viejo, Calif., is rated as one of the top four-star recruits in the state of California. His parents are Jay and Karen Amos.
“Jayson is already a very accomplished doubles player. We take a lot of pride in our doubles and he will help us to keep that tradition alive,” added Schyllander.
Marcinkowski is a senior at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, Wash. and he is currently ranked fifth out of all high seniors in the Pacific Northwest region. His parents are Janie and Greg Marcinkowski.
The Ducks return to the courts for regular season competition on Jan. 19th against Portland State and Seattle at home.
