EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon Athletic Department has announced a junior reporter contest for the 2012-13 women’s basketball season. UO is seeking youth reporters – ages 5-12 – to submit entry videos with the winners being selected to interview student-athletes from the women’s basketball team this season.
Each entry video should include the following information:
- The junior reporter’s name, age, grade, school and hometown
- The parent/guardian name(s), phone and e-mail
- A YouTube link to audition video
- Reasons why the child wants to be a Junior Reporter.
Junior reporter entry videos will be accepted from Dec. 3 - 19. All entries must be emailed to Oregon Athletics Marketing Dept. (athletic@uoregon.edu) no later than December 19.
Multiple winners will be selected and contacted to interview UO women’s basketball team members after select Pac-12 games. All winners must be able to travel to Eugene for their scheduled game with a parent/guardian.
In addition to being selected as junior reporter for a game, each winning junior reporter will be given two complimentary tickets to the game they are scheduled to conduct their interview.
