Mascot Game Scheduled For Halftime of UO-CU Game

Oregon will be hosting a mascot basketball game at halftime during the UO women's basketball game against Colorado on Friday, March 1.

The Oregon Duck will be joined by a number of other mascots in a halftime basketball promotion.

EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon athletic department will be hosting a mascot basketball game at halftime during the UO women’s basketball game against Colorado on Friday, March 1.

The following mascots are set to participate: Sluggo, the Tree (both from the Em’s), The Oregon Duck, The Carl’s Jr. Burger, the Hoodoo Dragon and Big Foot. The mascots will be divided into two teams to play 3-on-3.

Each team will represent a section of the arena, the team who wins will win a special prize for their assigned section.

Tickets ($7-$15) are available online at goducks.com, in-person at the Moshofsky Center Ticket Office (M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.) or over the phone at 1-800-WEBFOOT. Tickets are also available at the Matthew Knight Arena box office on game day.

The Buffaloes (22-5, 11-5) are the 19th-ranked team in the country. Tip-time for the UO-CU contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. (PT).
