Eugene, Ore. -- The Oregon Ducks return to action Monday when they open a two-game series with Cal State Northridge at PK Park at 6 p.m.

The Ducks are coming off a three-game series at Cal State Fullerton that saw Oregon win the finale 9-1 on Sunday after losing the first two games. The Ducks will send freshman Cole Wiper to the mound on Monday for his first career start.  Jeff Gold gets the start on Tuesday with a 12 p.m. first pitch.

UO is in the midst of a stretch that will see the Ducks play 13 games in 17 days from March 1 to March 17.  Oregon played three at Cal State Fullerton (March 1-3) and now will play two against Cal State Northridge (March 4-5), three against Vanderbilt (March 8-10), two against Texas State (March 12-13) and three at USC (March 15-17).
