WOODLAND, Calif. — Oregon junior attacker Shannon Propst was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week on Monday night (April 15).

This marks the second time Propst has garnered MPSF Player of the Week honors in her career. She received the conference player of the week award as a sophomore on April 3, 2012.

Propst, who leads the Ducks in points (55), assists (32) and is tied for the team lead in goals (23), takes home the award after recording 14 total points in wins over Fresno State and Saint Mary's last week.

Propst, a native of Bel Air, Md., scored a career-high five goals and added two assists against Fresno State on April 10 and followed with a three-goal, four-assist effort on Sunday (April 14) against Saint Mary's. The four assists matched a career-high. Both seven-point performances were career-bests for Propst as well.

Propst's seven-point outburst against Saint Mary's gave her 135 career points and moved her into a seventh-place tie with Jana Bradley (2005-08) on Oregon's all-time points list. In addition, her 63 career assists rank third all-time. She is just 16 assists away from becoming the Ducks' all-time assist leader.

This year, Propst has tallied 55 points; she is just 10 points away from becoming Oregon's single-season points leader. The current record is held by Alex Breiner and Ilsa van den Berg, who both recorded 64 points in 2011 and 2008, respectively. Additionally, Propst is challenging Breiner's single-season record of 4.00 points per game, which was set in 2011. Propst is averaging 3.93 points per game this season.

Finally, Propst is just two assists away from becoming Oregon's all-time single-season record holder. She has 32 this year (2.29 per game, which is currently a single-season record) and is one behind Alison Leiner, who posted 33 assists in 2006.

A second team All-MPSF selection a season ago, Propst currently ranks 16th in the country in assists (32) and assists per game (2.29).

Propst's Offensive Player of the Week honor is the third time a Duck has garnered an MPSF award this year.  Freshman Carly O'Connell was named Rookie of the Week on March 4 and April 8.

Oregon has three regular season games remaining and all three come on the road. The Ducks play at Stanford on Friday (April 19) at 5 p.m. and head to UC Davis on Sunday (April 21). The regular season concludes on April 26 at Denver.
