LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Oregon Ducks shot 32-over par as a team on Monday afternoon on the opening day of the 2013 Pac-12 Championships in Los Angeles.
Today's play featured two rounds; California (-5) leads UCLA (+4) by nine shots through 36 holes. The Bears' Max Homa shot a Los Angeles Country Club-record 61 (-9) in the first round to begin the tournament. Homa shot an even 70 and leads the individual field by three strokes over teammate Michael Weaver (-6).
As a team, Oregon (362-370) is in ninth place overall.
Rak Cho (71-69=140) heads into the third round at even-par. He is the Oregon leader in the individual standings, sitting in a five-way tie for sixth place out of 72 golfers. Sulman Raza (71-75=146) is six-over entering Tuesday (T-31st) and Brandon McIver (73-74=146) is currently in a tie for 34th. Zach Foushee (+8), Jonathan Woo (+11) and Robbie Ziegler (+14) rounded out the Oregon six.
Tuesday's action will feature 18 holes of golf beginning at 8 a.m.
