ATHENS, Ga.—The No. 35 University of Oregon women’s golf team has completed three rounds of action at the four-day, four-round NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga. The Ducks teed off on the front nine in the morning session Thursday at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
The Ducks (301-295-297-893) shot 9-over 297 in the third round to take sole possession of 17th place overall in the field of 24. No. 1 USC (284-276-285-845) pulled even farther away from the rest of the field, while No. 2 Duke (286-289-287-862) created separation from No. 7 Purdue (289-289-295-873) and No. 3 Alabama (288-284-301-873) who are now tied for third.
Individually, No. 38 sophomore Cassy Isagawa (75-71-70-216) played another strong round to move up to a tie for 14th overall. Senior Hanule Sky Seo (79-71-73-224) recorded another eagle today after her hole-in-one in round two, finishing the day in a tie for 55th place. Sophomore Cali Hipp (76-75-77-228) and freshman Caroline Inglis (74-77-77-228) ended tied for 82nd overall after Thursday, while senior Avery Sills (76-79-84-239) also counted a scorecard.
USC’s No. 2 Annie Park (70-67-70-207) regained the top spot on the individual leaderboard, while Mississippi State’s No. 15 Ally McDonald (70-69-70-209) and No. 1 Stephanie Meadow (69-67-73-209) of Alabama are tied for second overall.
