EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon women’s golf team looks for a consecutive top-five finish this week, traveling to the 34th annual Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. Action will be held at the UNM Championship Course on Friday and Saturday.

The Ducks earned momentum and a positive result at the season-opening Mary Fossum Invitational last weekend, placing fifth with a three round total of 908 (+44). Head coach Ria Scott and the Ducks look to do the same this week, playing in another talented 16-team national field.

Action from the Dick McGuire Invitational begins Friday with two rounds. Both rounds will get underway with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (PT).

The Ducks were led by top-10 finishes from Caroline Inglis and Cassy Isagawa last week in East Lansing, Mich. Inglis notched her first career top-five finish with a 54-hole score of 221 (+5). She was one of two players in the field to break par in the final round, shooting a 71 (-1). Isagawa used three steady rounds to tie for seventh with a three-round score of 223 (+7).

Cathleen Santoso, Monica Petchakan and Raphaela Dyer were also in the lineup for the Ducks. Santoso tallied a top-20 finish in her first collegiate event, carding a 228 (+12) to tie for 17th. Petchakan tied for 46th (236/+20) and Dyer tied for 63rd (242/+26). Junior Cali Hipp and freshman Brenna Murphy also competed as individuals. Hipp placed 21st with a 229 (+13), while Murphy placed 88th (257/+41).

Inglis, Isagawa, Hipp, Santoso and Petchakan will compete this week for the Ducks, while Dyer and freshman Marcella Pranovia will compete individually.

Oregon last played in the Dick McGuire Invitational in 2010, where they won the tournament with a three-round score of 881 (+5).

Following the Dick McGuire Invitational, Oregon will return to action Oct. 8-9 with the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Sammamish, Wash.
