Here's Oregon's 70-player travel squad for today's game at Colorado.
The most surprising change from the group that made the trip to Virginia is the absence of junior tight end Colt Lyerla. His status will obviously be a question for Mark Helfrich after the game, but for now the Ducks will play without Lyerla for the second time in three games.
The good news is, Pharaoh Brown has looked better and better in practice the last couple weeks, and could be poised for a breakout game. And Johnny Mundt showed what he could do the last time Lyerla sat out, against Tennessee.
Note that De'Anthony Thomas is on hand, but he was still wearing a walking boot pregame.
Quarterback (4): Marcus Mariota, Dustin Haines, Jake Rodrigues, Jeff Lockie
Running back (6): Kenny Bassett, Ayele Forde, Lane Roseberry, Thomas Tyner, Byron Marshall, De'Anthony Thomas
Wide receiver (8): Bralon Addison, Chance Allen, Eric Dungy, Josh Huff, Blake Stanton, Daryle Hawkins, Chad Delaney, Keanon Lowe
Tight end (4): Johnny Mundt, Pharaoh Brown, Evan Baylis, Koa Ka'ai
Offensive line (11): Karrington Armstrong, Everett Benyard, Mana Greig, Cameron Hunt, Hamani Stevens, Jake Fisher, Hroniss Grasu, Tyler Johnstone, Matt Pierson, Andre Yrurtetagoyena, Brian Teague
Defensive line (9): Alex Balducci, DeForest Buckner, Taylor Hart, Ricky Havili-Heimuli, Wade Keliikipi, Arik Armstead, Jared Ebert, Sam Kamp, Ryan Hagen
Linebacker (14): Tony Washington, Christian French, Cody Carriger, Tyson Coleman, Boseko Lokombo, Oshay Dunmore, Isaac Ava, Derrick Malone, Danny Mattingly, Rodney Hardrick, Torrodney Prevot, Rahim Cassell, Tyrell Robinson, Joe Walker
Defensive back (10): Reggie Daniels, Terrance Mitchell, Avery Patterson, Erick Dargan, Dior Mathis, Ben Butterfield, Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Brian Jackson, Troy Hill, Issac Dixon
Special teams (4): Matt Wogan, Dylan Ausherman, Drew Howell, Alejandro Maldonado
Also notable is the addition of receiver Eric Dungy, who has yet to play this season and did not make the trip to Virginia. His presence on the travel squad could be a good omen.
The other guy not at Virginia who is here in Boulder is freshman linebacker Danny Mattingly, who is line to redshirt but could help on defense and special teams if needed. He had a great week on the scout team prior to the Cal game, so this could be in part a reward for that.
In order to accommodate those two additions and also trim the squad down to the 70-player limit for Pac-12 games, eight guys who were at Virginia did not make the trip this weekend. Along with Lyerla, they are Dwayne Stanford, Devon Allen, B.J. Kelley, Jake Pisarcik, David Kafovalu, Grant Thompson and Chris Seisay.
