EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon women’s soccer team will host its annual Winter ID Camp on Dec. 14, head coach Kat Mertz announced Friday. The camp will provide female soccer players in 8th through 12th grades the opportunity to train and compete in front of UO’s coaching staff and coaches representing all collegiate levels in Oregon.
The camp will feature a training session run by UO staff and guest college coaches, and technical training. Attendees will also play small sided and full sided matches on the Oregon fields in addition to an interactive recruiting lecture by coach Mertz and guest coaches.
Last year’s camp featured guest coaches from the following universities; Concordia-Portland, Linfield University, Northwest Christian University, Southern Oregon University, and Western Oregon University.
The camp funs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 14. The cost is $150 for both field players and goalkeepers.
