Along with Saturday's 1 p.m. football game against Utah in Autzen Stadium, there are several other UO athletic events on tap this weekend.
Beginning Thursday night, the volleyball team kicks off two matches in two nights, against Stanford and then Cal. The Ducks would like to get at least a split for the sake of their NCAA Tournament hopes. Each match is at 6 p.m., and is televised by Pac-12 Networks.
On Friday, the men's tennis team wraps up its fall season with a four-day tournament in Seattle. If you haven't seen it yet, also check out a video recap of last week's Alex Rovello Court dedication ceremony.
Also Friday, the No. 4 Oregon men and 15th-ranked women will run in the NCAA West Regional cross country races. The Ducks will try to secure automatic NCAA bids Friday, or bolster their case for an at-large selection to be made Saturday.
And on Sunday, the women's basketball team is back in action against Sacramento State at 2 p.m. Oregon not only leads the Pac-12 in scoring with 122 points per game so far, the Ducks boast the conference's top three individual scorers in Katelyn Loper, Jillian Alleyne and Chrishae Rowe.
Finally, I'll be sitting down for a book signing Friday afternoon at The Duck Store in the Moshofsky Center.
