WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Junior Liz Brenner was named to the All-Pac-12 Team, Tuesday, leading a group of four Oregon volleyball players who earned all-conference honors.

Seniors Lauren Plum and Ariana Williams were selected as Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 while newcomer Amanda Benson was tabbed as part of the All-Freshman Team.

For Brenner, who led the conference with 4.62 kills/set this season, it is her third award from the conference after being picked to the All-Pac-12 Team last season and to the All-Freshman Team in 2011. During conference matches, Brenner led by a wide margin in kills/set at 4.97, over .5 kills/set better than Washington’s Krista Vansant, who finished second. Brenner also averaged a conference-best 5.28 points/set.

Plum, who has been named to the All-Pac-12 Team twice, including the honor of Pac-12 Setter of the year in 2012, still garnered recognition despite missing time due to a foot injury. During Plum’s return to full strength, her statistics took a hit but the Poway, Calif., native still averaged 10.74 assists/set which ranks third in the conference.

Williams has now been selected as a conference honorable mention each of the past three years. She ranked seventh in the conference in hitting percentage with a mark of .343.

Benson was both the top-digging freshman in the conference this season, as well as Oregon history, averaging 4.71 digs/set against Pac-12 competition. The Litchfield Park, Ariz., native tied the Pac-12 best mark this season by digging 24 attacks in only three sets against California.

Oregon will play Miami in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Lincoln, Neb. If the Ducks win, they would face the winner of Fairfield vs. No. 8 Nebraska, Saturday at 5 p.m.
