•The Ducks won a third consecutive bowl game, matching the longest such streak in school history set during the 1999 to 2001 seasons.
•The last time Oregon allowed as few as 7 points in a bowl game was the 1920 Rose Bowl - a 7-6 loss vs. Harvard.
•Mark Helfrich tied the Pac-12 record for wins by a first-year head coach at 11 with USC's John Robinson (1976) and Stanford's David Shaw (2011).
•Oregon set a school record for total offense in a season at 7,345, besting the old mark of 7,319 in 2011, which happened during a 14-game season.
•With one touchdown, Mariota tied Joey Harrington's Oregon career record for total offensive touchdowns (77). Mariota passed for at least one score for the 26th straight game.
•Mariota finished the season with 4,380 yards of total offense and is the only player in school history to eclipse 4,000 yards.
•Mariota's 133 rushing yards pushed him past Jeremiah Masoli (1,386 from 2008-09) as Oregon's career QB rushing leader with 1,467. His game total was also an Alamo Bowl record by a QB.
•Patterson's 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the 1st quarter was the longest in a UO bowl game until JR LB Derrick Malone's 38-yard "Pick 6" in the 4th quarter.
•SR WR Josh Huff set the single-season mark for receiving yards with 1,140. He also equalled the single-season (12) and career (24) marks for receiving touchdowns. Huff's 104 receiving yards gave him six 100-yard efforts this season, an new UO single-season record.
•With 25 yards on his lone return, JR RB De'Anthony Thomas set the UO career record for kickoff return yards with 1,885. Thomas also set the Oregon career bowl record for all-purpose yards at 571, breaking Kenjon Barner's previous mark of 551.
•The Ducks improved to 2-0 vs. Texas in bowl games, having also defeated the No. 12 Longhorns, 35-30, in the 2000 Holiday Bowl. The Ducks are now 4-3 in seven bowl games against Big 12 teams. UT has won all four regular season meetings against Oregon, with all coming prior to 1972.
•The 56 passing yards by Texas was the fewest allowed by the Ducks this season. Oregon limited UCLA to 64 on Oct. 26.
*The Ducks, who had not attempted more than two field goals in a game this season, converted on 3 of 4 tries by FR K Matt Wogan, who notched a season-best on a 39-yarder.
•The sellout crowd of 65,981 was the second-largest in Alamo Bowl history.
•The Ducks were a perfect 11-0 this season when scoring 30 or more points.
•SO LB Joe Walker made his first career start.
