EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon volleyball team will be busy during the month of April, playing three indoor matches around its final weekend of sand volleyball in Portland, Ore., April 12.
The Ducks will start their spring slate, Saturday, April 5 against Oregon State at the Oregon State University Rec Center. That match is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
There will be a Civil-War rematch for Oregon’s lone home spring match, Friday, April 18th at Matthew Knight Arena at 6:30 p.m.
The final match of the spring season will be held at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Ore., where Oregon will take on Western Washington at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26.
The Ducks are led by rising senior and second-team All-American Liz Brenner who led the Pac-12 in kills during the 2013 season. Brenner will be joined by fellow returning starters, Martenne Bettendorf, Canace Finley, Serena Warner and libero Amanda Benson.
Oregon graduated two starters in setter Lauren Plum and middle blocker Ariana Williams. Plum, a four-year starter, set the school assists record early in the 2013 season. Williams was the team’s second offensive target, averaging 3.03 kills/set and hitting .344 over the course of the season, the fourth-best hitting percentage in school history.

April 18th – vs. OSU at MKA, 6:30 pm
