WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Oregon sprinter Jenna Prandini was named the Pac-12 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced, Tuesday.
The redshirt sophomore ran an 11.11 in the 100 meter to win at the Mt. SAC Relays and post the second-fastest time in the world this year, and the fastest wind-legal time in the NCAA. In addition to the accomplishments on the global and national scale, she also moved up to second in the Oregon record book and seventh all-time in Pac-12 history.
Prandini was also part of the 4x100 team which tied a world-leading time, winning in 43.31, also the fourth-best time in Pac-12 history.
It is the second time this season Prandini has been named the Pac-12 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after earning the award, April 1.
