  • The fastest player on the UO football team ran a 4.51 40. Was one of the best sprinters in the state of California as a high schooler.

2009 -- First displayed potential against Purdue that excited coaches during spring drills, catching four passes for 71 yards against the Boilermakers . . . Speed allowed him to turn quick out pattern into 40-yard gain in home opener . . . Turned in probably his most satisfying performance against his former teammates, with his 17-yard scoring catch among his three receptions for 33 yards against USC . . . Has exhibited signs of consistency as of late, following up effort against the Trojans with a 40-yard scoring catch at Stanford to go along with two carries for another 38 yards . . . Has caught passes in each of his last four games since his breakout against USC . . . Team's fifth-leading receiver has caught 13 passes for 199 yards and two scores.

2008 -- Had four receptions for 53 yards and three rushes for 34 yards for Oregon’s football team. Averaged 17.8 yards per kickff return on nine attempts.

Before Oregon: Arguably USC’s fastest reciever before transferring to the Pacific Northwest, he broke his collarbone during fall camp in 2006, but recovered in time to run track as a freshman for the Trojans in the spring. Ran lead leg on the USC 4x100 relay team that posted a season-best time of 39.50. USC Bests: 100 Meters - 10.81 (4/28/07).

Prep: Won the state 100 and 200 meters in 2005 and was second in the 100 in 2006. Had bests of 10.36 in the 100 (the nation’s third best prep time in 2006) and 20.92 in the 200. The No. 4 athlete in the country, according to Rivals.com, he was rated as the No. 11 receiver overall by Scout.com. Led Taft to the L.A. city championship with a 13-1 record overall. He had 56 catches for 1,188 yards (21.2 avg.) and 17 TDs in 2005, plus ran 40 yards on 7 reverses (5.7 avg.) with a TD, scored on a punt and kickoff return, and made 26 tackles and 3 interceptions. He also accounted for a safety and led Taft in scoring with 132 points. High School Bests: 100 Meters - 10.36; 200 Meters - 20.92.
