Harris to Host Free Football Camp to Benefit Food for Land County
Friday, February 27, 4:45 p.m. PT

It has barely been two months since he played his final football game in an Oregon uniform, but Ra'Shon Harris is already giving back to the local community.

Harris, referred to as "Sunny" by friends, coaches and teammates, will host a free two-hour football camp for kids (1st-8th grades) at Autzen Stadium on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The camp, presented by Kidsports, will also feature former Oregon football player Jordan Kent, currently of the Seattle Seahawks.

The camp is free, but participants are encouraged to bring two cans or two non-perishable food items for Food for Lane County. Sign up here.

Following the Holiday Bowl victory over Oklahoma State, Harris represented the Ducks in the East-West Shrine Game. An NFL prospect, he recently attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and ranked fifth among defensive tackles in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.99 seconds.
