SI Coming to Campus
Friday, April 17, 3:30 p.m. PT

Monday is shaping up to be a busy day from a media standpoint for the Ducks. Not only will the ESPN show Jim Rome is Burning be in town taping a feature with Chip Kelly, but Sports Illustrated writer George Dohrmann is heading to Eugene for a piece on James Harris, Oregon's nutritionist and assistant athletic director for student-athlete development.

The SI story will center around Harris' work with recently graduated players Jeff Kendall and Cole Linehan as they both attempt to bulk down from a lineman's physique now that their playing careers are over.

Jeff Kendall, aka Mr. January, has his own history with Jim Rome.

Speaking of SI, the magazine's website recently featured Oregon cheerleader Lauren Boyd as its cheerleader of the week. I believe Lauren is the third Duck to earn the distinction in the past two years.
