EUGENE, Ore. -- University of Oregon football coach Chip Kelly has announced that Dominic Glover and Zach Taylor will not return for 2009-10 due to failure to meet NCAA eligibility requirements.
Taylor, a former junior college transfer from Austin, Tex., was UO's primary long snapper as a junior last season. He appeared in all 13 games and was credited with two tackles during his lone year with the Ducks.
Glover, a defensive end from Ladera Ranch, Calif., never appeared in a game for Oregon. He was a redshirt in 2007 and missed all of '08 due to injury.
The Ducks open Fall Camp on Friday, Aug. 7, ahead of their 2009 season opener at Boise State on Sept. 3 (7:15 p.m. on ESPN).
