About Eugene Country Club Host of the 2007 Pacific-10 Conference men’s golf championships, the Eugene Country Club is one of the gems on the Pacific Coast. Ranked 87th in the nation and tops in the Northwest, this private club hosted the 1987 and 1997 men’s Pacific-10 championships and the 1959 and 1978 Men’s NCAA Championships. It also was the site of the women’s Pacific-10 Conference Championships in 1991 and 2000. Home of the 2007 Oregon Duck Invitational, it is a par 72 and plays to 7,033 yards. Established in 1899, ECC has also played host to the U.S. Junior Championship (1964), the U.S. Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship (1993), the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship (2002) and the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship (1974, 1982, 1986, 1990, 2004) and will host the 2008 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. Scoring The five individuals from each team with the low scores for any 18-hole round constitute the scoring members of the team for that given round. The team championship will be awarded to the squad with the lowest total combined score for all rounds.
