AS A JUNIOR • 2009
Oregon’s leading offensive everyday player, led the Ducks with a .291 average (59-for-203)...appeared in all 56 games making 54 starts in the outfield...led the Ducks in slugging percentage (.369), on-base percentage (.354), hits (59), doubles (10), triples (tied, 3) and total bases (75)...also led Oregon with 18 multiple-hit games...began the season patrolling center field for the first 22 games before making the switch to left...also hit the majority of the year second in the order...had a team-leading .472 percentage reaching as the leadoff hitter...also batted .500 (6-for-12) with a runner on third and less than two outs...posted a .485 success rate advancing runners...in Oregon’s historic 5-3 season-opening victory at Saint Mary’s (2/20) was 3-for-4 with a RBI and stolen base...went on a seven-game hitting streak from March 7-20...during that stretch helped lead the Ducks to a 4-3 record, hitting .308 (8-for-26) with three RBIs, two runs scored, three stolen bases and a .400 on-base percentage...from April 5 - May 1, hit safely in 13 of 15 games, leading UO with a .383 average (23-for-60) with nine runs, seven extra-base hits (6 doubles, 1 triple), three RBIs, seven multiple-hit games and a .517 slugging percentage...ended the season on a three-game hitting streak, batting .600 (6-for-10) in a three-game series against Arizona.

PRIOR TO OREGON
Played the 2007 and 2008 seasons at Sacramento City College...was a Big 8 Conference second team selection his sophomore season after batting .306 with 53 hits, 26 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento Calif...was a two-sport athlete, playing baseball (shortstop) and football (quarterback) for the Falcons...played in both the football and baseball Optimist All-Star games...was a first team all-Metro baseball selection as well as a two-time all-Sierra Valley Conference honoree...on the gridiron was a second team all-Metro selection and a two-time all-league honoree.
