2014 SEASON
Appeared in 27 games while making 18 starts, 13 at catcher and five at designated hitter … Team went 15-3 in games that he started … Finished season hitting .274 with three doubles, three RBI and 11 runs scored … Finished season with six multiple-hit games … Went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in first game of the season at Hawaii … Played a big part in the 20-4 rout of Ohio State, going 2-for-5 with three runs scored … Hit .421 (8-for-19) with a double, two RBI and a stolen base over a six-game stretch from May 6 to May 13 … Hot stretch included three of six multi-hit games: 2-for-4 at Portland, 2-for-4 at Arizona State and 2-for-5 against Pacific … Started first game of the NCAA Nashville Regional against Clemson at designated hitter, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored in the 18-1 rout.
