July 14, 2010

CARY, N.C. -- USA Baseball announced Wednesday afternoon that beginning tonight four of the next five games between the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team and Korea will be streamed live online at www.USABaseball.com.

Oregon sophomore pitchers Tyler Anderson and Scott McGough were named to the final 22-man Collegiate National Team roster on Sunday night.

On Tuesday night, Team USA picked up its first win of the summer, 8-3, over the Fayetteville Swampdogs of the Coastal Plain League. Neither Anderson nor McGough made an appearance.

Tonight’s opening game against Korea begins at 4 p.m. PT (7 pm ET).

The two clubs will play a pair of friendly games in Cary, N.C. (July 14-15) at the USA Baseball National Training Complex where Baseball America’s John Manuel and Aaron Fitt will call the games on www.USABaseball.com.

The series continues on Friday, July 16, in Fort Mill, S.C. at Knights Stadium (live streaming not available for this game) before heading back to the Triangle-area, July 17-18, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, where the voice of N.C. State Wolfpack sports Tony Haynes will handle play-by-play duties with color assistance from Manuel.

The Durham Bulls video staff will produce footage for live broadcast on www.USABaseball.com and MLB.com’s popular live scoring offering “Gameday” will be available to fans for the two games in Durham on www.USABaseball.com as well.
