EUGENE, Ore. – Six players from Oregon’s 2014 baseball team who are expected to be a part of next year’s team are competing in summer wooden back leagues around the country this summer.

Three of those Ducks are playing in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League and one each are playing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, California Collegiate League and the West Coast League.

Left-handed pitcher Garrett Cleavinger is playing for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape for the second straight season and is joined by catcher Shaun Chase. Third baseman Mitchell Tolman is also playing in the CCBL for the Orleans Firebirds.

Catcher Josh Graham will compete for the Valley Blue Sox in the NECBL, while A.J. Balta plays for the Santa Barbara Foresters in the CCL and Steven Packard is a member of the Klamath Falls Gems in the WCL.
