HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Carson High School in Carson, Calif…played four years at center for head coach Marcel Sanders…won back-to-back City Section Division I titles defeating rival Narbonne HS in 2010 and 2011…in the championship game her senior year, recorded a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the 64-55 upset of top-seeded Narbonne…reached the championship game after scoring 15 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding four blocks in a 65-52 semifinal victory over Fairfax HS…as a senior averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game…also led the Marine League with 2.6 blocks per game…the Colts finished the season with a 19-11 overall record and second-place finish with a 9-3 mark in Marine League play…was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All-State Division I team…was chosen as one of 22 players to participate in the fourth annual All-American Prep basketball game in April of 2011…entering her senior season was the 31st-ranked post in the 2011 class, according to ESPN HoopGurlz…in 2010 claimed the City Section Division I championship in a 53-47 come-from-behind overtime victory over Narbonne HS, scoring 13 points while adding 10 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and two assists…the Colts finished 2010 with a record of 22-9 and a No. 1 ranking in the Los Angeles City Section…in 2010 was named to the Los Angeles All-City first team after helping Carson to a second place finish in the Marine League with a 10-2 record…a three-star recruit, averaged 14.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game while leading the Marine League with 2.7 blocks per game as a junior.

Played three years for Cal Sparks Gold, a club that was ranked in the top-20 for the summer of 2010…eight fellow teammates went on to play college basketball; Symone Brown (Montana State), Tarae Cunningham (San Jose State), Reshanda Gray (California), Ashley Lovett (Loyola Marymount), Chante Miles (Cal State Fullerton), Danielle Pruitt (Loyola Marymount), Deajanae Scurry (San Diego State) and Frances Vaaulu (Utah State).

Parents are Jonah and Josephine Iamaleava…has six siblings; Mathew, Theresa, Nicholaus, Lydia, Jonah and twin Jonavah… cousin A.J. Tuitele was a member of the Oregon football team from 2004-07…major is undeclared.
