The O Heroes and fraternities and sororities teamed up Tuesday, October 12 to help raise funds for United Way on campus. There was an excellent turn-out of about 160 volunteers for the day and while the totals have not been submitted yet, there is hope that over a thousand dollars were raised for United Way’s fall campaign.

The event saw support from Athletic Director, Rob Mullens, who came out in the morning to support the cause, and the Duck mascot also did a few trips up and down 13th avenue collecting donations with a few football players.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated when the numbers are released and we would also like to thank all the student-athletes and fraternity and sorority members who came and gave their time and efforts in this years’ United Challenge.
