2014 — Oregon's leading tackler (70) has paced his team in stops in five of his 10 appearances, including a collegiate-best 12 tackles in the win over Stanford . . . Also tallied 11 stops against UCLA and California in which 10 of them were unassisted vs. the Bruins . . . Also credited with double-digit takedowns at Washington State . . . Leads the Pac-12 in total interceptions (5) and is tied for ninth nationally (0.5 avg.), including equalling his single-game high with two of his interceptions against Wyoming . . . Returned another pick 36 yards against Michigan State and ran 15 yards following his theft vs. Washington . . . Two of his interceptions occured in the red zone against Stanford and Wyoming . . . Recovered a fumble in the end zone at Utah and forced another loose football against Stanford . . . Seldom leaving the field, also a regular on all four major special teams as he ranks second in tackles (9.5) as part of kickoff and punt coverage units, including three vs. Stanford.

2013 — Earned second-team Pac-12 all-conference honors as a special teams standout in addition to looming as one of the secondary’s top reserves . . . Was credited with 24 tackles (12 unassisted) in 11 appearances, including a season-high four stops in consecutive contests against Virginia, Tennessee (2 solo) and California . . . Finished tied for third on the team in special teams tackles with eight . . . Broke up three of his four passes in the first two weeks of the season, including a pair of deflections vs. the Cavaliers . . . Added a forced fumble against Washington State . . . Took part in 45 snaps or more in nine of his first 10 games, including 71 plays against the Cougars and 68 vs. California.

2012 — Consistency became the model for his success as he paced team in tackles on only one occasion (five vs. Tennessee Tech) . . . Yet took advantage of his opportunities when injuries created an avenue to break into the starting lineup, opening the final three games at free safety . . . Thrived on special teams and in a supporting role to post fewer than three tackles on only two occasions, but met the challenge when the spotlight turned on in the post-season … Credited with a personal-best eight tackles (seven unassisted) in the Fiesta Bowl win over Kansas State in addition to a pair of interceptions (returns totaling 33 yards) . . . Picked off passes in final three appearances after claiming first career interception earlier in the year at Arizona State . . . Also added pair of fumble recoveries . . . 2011 — Saw action in nine games, totaling 15 tackles (9 solo) … Recorded one tackle in win vs. Oregon State … Had four tackles in victory at Colorado … First career pass breakup and forced fumble to go along with two solo tackles in win at Arizona … Career-high five tackles, including four of the solo variety in victory vs. Missouri State … Had three tackles in first collegiate action in win vs. Nevada.

BEFORE OREGON — Played running back and defensive back as a Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 selection … Second-team All-East Bay in 2008 and first-team all-Bay Valley League in 2008 … Helped lead the Pirates to a 9-5 overall record in 2009 … San Francisco Chronicle High School Athlete of the Week for the week of December 10, 2008 …  Missed half of his senior season due to a knee injury … As a junior, rushed for 769 yards on 99 carries with 11 touchdowns and had 72 tackles with three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and one sack … A four-star recruit and the No. 24 ranked safety in the nation by Scout.com - rated 22nd safety by Rivals.com.
