2015 — One of the Ducks' most unheralded keys to its success led the team in tackles (87) and fumble recoveries (2) his senior year despite missing the team's regular-season finale vs. Oregon State . . . Starting all 12 games in which he played, the Pac-12 academic all-conference honorable mention pick also converted a loose ball into a touchdown for the second year in a row, returning a fumble 52 yards for a score against Georgia State . . . Nabbed his first interception of his career at Colorado in addition to recovering his second fumble of the year . . . His consistency was epitomized by him pacing or sharing the squad's lead in tackles on only two occasions (vs. Utah and USC), including a career single-game high of 15 takedowns in the win against the Trojans . . . Also recorded what was then a season best 11 tackles against Michigan State . . . Accumulated 1.5 tackles-for-loss against both Michigan State and Washington in addition to being credited with quarterback sacks vs. Eastern Washington and USC . . . Started off the season strong with eight tackles, five solo, and an 8-yard sack in the opening game against Eastern Washington.

2014 Broke into the starting lineup in 10 of his 15 appearances, tying for fourth on the team in tackles (81) and finishing second among inside linebackers . . . The honorable mention academic all-conference selection was at his best against the run, sharing a team-high nine stops in the win over Michigan State . . . Racked up eight tackles for loss, with two a piece coming in a home win against the Spartans and a road victory over UCLA . . . Tied for a career-high nine tackles on three separate occasions in wins against Michigan State, Arizona and Stanford . . . Made a tackle in every single game . . . Provided the pivotal play in a road win against Utah,  picking up a fumble and returning it for a school record 100-yard touchdown . . . Earned the Dudley Clarke Memorial Award as the Ducks' most improved player . . . Contributed three tackles in the 2015 Spring Game.

2013 — Team’s top reserve linebacker came off the bench to play in the Ducks’ first 12 games before drawing the starting nod in the Alamo Bowl win over Texas . . . Ranked 11th on the team in tackles and third among interior linebackers, with his 37 stops (25 unassisted) including three tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks . . . Contributed tackles in 11 of 13 appearances in addition to being a key special teams component . . . Credited with a single-game high nine tackles (six solo) and a TFL in his most extensive play of the year (61 snaps) in the win over California . . . Added six tackles (five unassisted) in the win over Washington State . . . Accumulated four tackles in the 2014 Spring Game, including a quarterback sack for a 9-yard setback.

2012 — Enrolled for classes in January and benefitted from participation in 2013 spring drills . . . Recorded five tackles in 2013 Spring Game, including an assisted tackle-for-loss of 1 yard . . . One of team’s strongest linebackers cleared 330-lb. clean lift and 325-lb. bench press, as well as timed in 4.89 electronic 40.

BEFORE OREGON — Credited with 102 tackles (56 unassisted) in only junior college season following a 2011 hiatus while recovering from surgery . . . Tied for second in the Central Conference in stops and fourth in the Southern California Football Association a year ago . . . Ranked by Scout.com as the top junior college middle linebacker recruit in the country while also earned three stars from ESPN.com and 247sports.com . . . 2012 numbers included 12 tackles-for-loss of 53 yards, one fumble recovery and a 32-yard interception return . . . The conference’s Northern Division second-team selection helped spearhead a defensive unit that ranked sixth in the division in points allowed (27.4) with Seahawks finishing with 6-5 record . . . The two-time all-Bay League standout led the Sea Kings in tackles as a prep senior in addition to doubling as a fullback, running for a 44-yard touchdown against Peninsula.
