  • Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America

2014 SEASON
Named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American after batting .242 with three home runs, 12 doubles and 29 RBI … Named to the 2014 Nashville Regional All-Tournament Team after going a combined 5-for-15 with two triples, one RBI and five runs scored against Clemson, Xavier and Vanderbilt … Started 47 games at first base after initially coming in as an outfielder, making just four errors in 427 total chances … Set Oregon single-season freshman records for doubles, triples (3) and total bases (78), as well as tying the freshman record for at-bats (211) … Finished season third on the team in multiple-hit games (15) and home runs, fourth in doubles and runs scored (32) and fifth in multiple-RBI games (6), RBI and triples … Started the season strong, hitting .400 (8-for-20) with three doubles, a triple and five RBI over the first eight games of the season … Came through with a pinch-hit RBI double in the ninth inning at Hawaii to help keep the Ducks alive for an eventual 6-5 extra-inning win … First collegiate home run was a grand slam in a 20-4 rout of Ohio State, capping off a 2-for-4 day with four RBI and three runs scored … Hit second career home run just two games later against USC, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored … Had two three-RBI games during the season, a 3-for-6 day with two runs scored at Gonzaga and a 3-for-5 performance with a home run, a double and two runs scored at home against Washington State … Stole seven bases on the season, including two in a 5-1 win over California.
