Welcome to the first extended weekend of the fall sports calendar in which all four of the Ducks' teams are in action.
Oregon's defending NCAA champion women's cross country team kicks off its schedule along with the 12th-ranked men at the PSU Viking Classic this evening.
The soccer team continues its extended homestand to open the season, looking to get above .500 under new coach Kat Mertz. The Ducks and their slew of scorers host Hawaii today at 4 p.m., and UC Irvine on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Oregon volleyball coach Jim Moore would like to mirror the way the soccer team has spread around its offense. He'd like to see a more diverse offensive approach when the Ducks play at Michigan State this evening and Michigan on Saturday.
And of course, the UO football team is in action Saturday at Virginia, as previewed in the latest edition of the Mac and Mose video report from myself and Andy McNamara.
