VALENCIA, Calif.— After two rounds the No. 41 University of Oregon women’s golf team moved into sixth place at the Pac-12 Championships in Valencia, Calif. The three-day, three-round tournament is played at the Valencia Country Club.

The Ducks (303-290-593) had a better day on the course, shooting two-over 290, improving from yesterday’s score by 15 strokes.


Sophomore Cassy Isagawa (74-70-144) had the best day for Oregon, shooting two-under 70. Isagawa jumped eight spots into a tie for 10th place going into the final round. Freshman Caroline Inglis (74-72-146) improved on yesterday’s score by shooting even-par 72 and moving up five spots into a tie for 13th place. Cali Hipp (77-74-151) carded a two-over 74 and completed the second round in a tie for 30th.


On the individual scoreboard, USC’s Annie Park (70-70-140) shot another two-under 70 to move into a tie for first place with Stanford’s Mariah Stackhouse (73-67-140) who shot a five-under 67, moving up nine spots. Colorado’s Jennifer Coleman (74-67-141) and Southern Cal’s Sophia Popov (66-75-141) sit one stroke behind the leaders in a tie for third place at three-under 141 after the second round.


The Ducks also counted a scorecard from Hanule Sky Seo (79-74-153), who shot two-over 74 and moved up 10 spots into a tie for 36th place. Avery Sills (78-75-153) is also in a tie for 36th place after carding a three-over 75 in the second round.


Southern California (280-291-571) remains the leader after the completion of day two, holding a steady 11 stroke lead over the rest of the competition. UCLA (290-292-582) sits behind the leader in second place and Washington (293-291-584) is two strokes behind the Bruins in third place to round out the leaders.
